3. "We will gonna come to class..."

4. "There are a lot of stuffs in my head" - Ang dami dami naman nyan. Halimbawa, "the cook stuffs the chicken".

5. "With regards to your behavior,..."

...Friday and Saturday nights...

My office life is always filled with excitement and fun-filled activities that I always get the urge to blog about it, because there's just so much to talk about. --->That is probably what I want to tell myself. But everyday, I get up, go to the office, sleep, go to the mall, then back to the office, mail some stuff, then leave. That has basically been my life. I seriously need a career change. Hirap lang maghanap.

Mag-taxi driver na lang ako sa Singapore.
====================================================================
Friday Session

(attendees: me, Che, Issa, Shara, and Ana. @ Market! Market!)

I didn't have plans last Friday, but at the last possible minute, Che says Shara wanted to go out. And so, go out we did. It was rare that Shara doesn't have something "coming up", so this was an event that cannot pass. Besides, I had to load up on dog tags because I didn't get to buy stuff for friends from Singapore. Waited for an hour for them media people to get ready to leave, spent the next hour weaving through traffic and looking for a parking space.

Pier One at the Fort was full, so we decided to go to Ortigas. But since my passengers were so hungry, we decided to go to Market!Market! instead. Was it Guilligan's or Guilly's, that we went to that was surprisingly not that full? Anyway, they had 3 for 100 beers, so I was good with that.

4-5 San Mig Light bottles later, I think I was about to go out. I guess its been a while since I drank more than 3 bottles, so I was kinda adjusting, which is good, considering Rey was gonna be celebrating his birthday the next day.

Met Ana, fun person to be with. A couple of meetings more, and I'd probably be laughing my brains off with her. I forgot what time I got home.

Save for the dog house that was in the middle of the road near Che's place (@Issa: this was that night, right?), I got home safe and unscathed, with "sweet dreams or a beautiful nightmare.." looping in my head.

Saturday Nostalgia Part I - The Girls
(Atendees: Me, Tracy, Aby. Special Apperance: Ma'm Fleur, Rey, Peter. @Ice Monster UST)

Tracy wanted to meet up with me and Aby for kwento sake. I'm an honorary "gurlfriend" in Tracy's eyes. Peter's not just honorary.

Because of the heat, we decided to hang out at Ice Monster, where Rey, Ma'm Fleur, and Peter dropped by on separate occassions. I was actually surprised that we were able to sustain a conversation of various topics for more than 3 hours.

It was fun talking to them, Tracy and her kikayness, and Aby and her frank bitchiness ("...mei shit na lumulutang, tapos nawawala yung balde ko. pati un putanginang balde ko, mei kumuha pa..." naalala ko si ate at ang St. Scho. wahahaha). I suddenly felt happy having lost the presidency back in college. Had I won, I wouldn't have had the time to spend with my classmates for us to be able to talk like we do now.

And yes, I probably am avoiding academics right now. I know I can choose not to finish it, but it's not my thing, starting something and then leaving it hanging. So I guess I'll stick with reading fiction ebooks for now.

Saturday Nostalgia Part II - Tita and "Porkchopan"
(Attendees: Me, Rey, Tita, Xtian. @Antonio Street)

Back in our 2nd year in college, we had a place that could accomodate almost the whole class, where the porkchop was always good, and the soup is always a surprise. We aptly called it "Porkchopan", so named because of the famed pork chops.

It was the best hangout place we got back then. After eating, we go to Kuya Ron's, right beside the eating area for our NBA Live tourneys via PS2 (Kali = Houston, Robert = Jonathan Bender, Imon = Phoenix?, Cadiz = Kyle Korver, Voltaire =  Miami?, Diaz = Purefoods. wahahaha) or if we're waiting, we'd play DoTA there, and in our spare time, while the smokers smoke, the rest plays with Kuya Ron's kid (whose name escapes me suddenly. Ked di ba?).  During the playoffs, I got to see how Miami won via the TV on the neighbor's place that was switched to the game.

Then as the years went by, it seemed they expanded, then slowly stopped, then totally closed. We still hung out there from time to time, but as I graduated, I know the new kids in AB wouldn't be able to enjoy the pork chops we had during our time (naks, parang antagal na.=P).

Now, Kuya Ron's shop is gone, and Tita opened a small sari-sari store. Seems Rey still hung out there, Tita still knows him. And yesterday, after convincing her to go against her policy of not letting people use their restroom, Rey introduced me, and she remembered me.

Us: wahahahha..
Tita: Tumaba ka kasi eh. Di tuloy kita nakilala. (sabi seio Ella, sinungaling ka eh.:P)

====================================================================

Saturday Nostalgia Part III - Team Flow ++

(Attendees: Me, Rey, Xtian, Imon, Ella, KT, Jonathan, Benjo, Carrin, Marella. NON-APPEARANCE: Kalayaan Nicandor Quiñones.
DRAWING APPEARANCE: Muse Cledera.
SORRY NA WALA PALANG NAGTEXT: Jason Suarez.
ETO UNG MGA NAMIMISS MONG LAKAD DAHIL KAHIT BUMISITA KA NA NG MAYNILA EH NDI KA NAMAN NAGPAPAKITA: Robert Dillera.
TATAY KA NA NDI KA PA RIN SUMASAMA: Leonel Cadiz. @Tony's Grill)

"Go with the flow" was some kind of mantra the Miguelin Boys lived with, and we just kinda rode it and made a Multiply account for the whole "team".

Before the Holy Week, we had "Friday Sessions", a weekly gathering at the Scout area. It didn't obligate, because people always had a choice:

Benjo text message: "Inom? Y/N"

It's difficult to gather the whole class back for a reunion, so what happens is, when we set a gathering, we invite people as a formality, but we believe that "friends are not invited, they just come". Anyway, these people in the above-mentioned groups are fun people to hang with, complete or not.

Last night was probably an attempt to revive the weekly session (which, may I add, burns a hole in one's wallet.:P haha), but mainly to celebrate Rey's birthday.

It was a loud night. There was the object of fun (Xtian), the assholes who direct all attention to the object of fun (me, imon), the birthday boy (John, este, Rey), the lover boy who sang for the mug and the birthday boy (Benjo), the bearer of the Lover boy's leash (Carrin), the Magnolia Queen (Marella.. hehe), the shy-type kuno sa camera (Jonathan), the girl in the hot seat (Ella), and the quiet visitor (KT).

Notable Notes:
*Xtian and I ate at the barbeque place near Tony's para tipid. We were so Hungry. Turned out there was no cooked rice yet, and they tell us that after our orders were served. Pakshet.

*Xtian tried to put Ella in the hot seat, but we always managed to direct the questions to Xtian. Not that I don't want Ella answering quesitons, it's just fun seeing Xtian grasp for answers. Mabuhay ang "sinigang"!!

*Xtian had a magic trick that baffled me.

*Marella got baptized as Queen Magnolia.

*Jonathan's birthday gift to Rey: Pinagbalat ng hipon.:)

*Imon requested for "Two Steps Behind" to the band and with it was a note to greet our friend who was celebrating his birthday, John Pratts. Everyone literally kept looking at our table to have at least a glimpse of John Pratts.

*Band played "Careless Whisper". Benjo danced for us.:)

*Band played "Kahit Kailan". Benjo sang for Rey.:) Sana i-upload ni Imon sa YouTube.:P putol un akin eh. Bastos si Rey, nagtext.. Haha..
*Yes, I like looking at our quiet visitor. It's not a big deal. Don't make it one.:p Lalo ka na Rey. haha

*Rey ordered Crispy Pata after n-number of buckets. I thought we needed more buckets, but the crispy pate didn't even last 15mins.

*I owe Marella a bucket of beer dahil nagawa nyang maabante un Anfra sa tapat ng Tony's.

...Singapore Finale...

im updating my blog right now using my new htc.ü

i'm still a bit bothered, but first things first. and i classify blogging as a "first"..

..walked bugis 2day, got chocolates 2 a select few. basta classmates 1 big box, kaya dpat sabay-sabay magkita.:)

..after 3 days of touring what i could say as a significant part of singpore, i conclude that singaporeans are not good looking. there's an abundance of hipon of the male and female species and only 2/10 times will you find a legit hottie..

..chicken rice is a common delicacy that's kinda cheap, but it's really good.:p chili is good here as well..

..i'm dead tired. i've been sleeping for only 3 hours every day since i got here..

..i'd come back here next year,when all the stilL-being-constructed sites are due to be finished.

...Singapore Day 2 Rundown...

Walked all freakin day. Fun, but tiring.

...Went to ate's site. Finally saw how it looked like.

...Ate at the mall. I thought I ordered beef. As it turned out, it was tofu. I needed meat badly.

...Visited Sentosa. Wonderful place.

...Got to go to the underwater place, where we saw tons of fish. Was able to feed some stingray near the exit. One of those swallowed a guy's whole hand. It wasn't a big deal for him, but it was to everyone else. He was unharmed.

...Raced at the Luge. Fun experience.:)

...Did a mimic of Amazing Race while trying to be on time for the Songs of the Sea show. Tiring, but fun.:)

...Remembered being a kid while watching the whole Songs of the Sea show.

...Ate at an eat-all-you-can shabu-shabu.

...Downed a Chivas and a half of Johnny Black after the freaking tiring day...

...I'm so fuckin wasted. I'm intoxicated, yes, but it's not just the alcohol (heck, I can't say I'm piss-drunk, I can liven up a party at this state of alcohol-inducement). But I can't sleep. I was too fuckin eager to open my Multiply and Facebook. Apparently, I wasn't able to think about happy thoughts. And now, at 5:36AM, body aching and intoxicated, I'm blogging. I can't sleep. I never wished to be wrong so bad all my life til this time. I'm paranoid. I shouldn't be. My heart's racing fast. No matter how hard I try not to think about anything but myself, I am. And my heart won't stop racing. I want to fuckin sleep. I can't. I probably shoudln't worry about anything, I shouldn't worry at all. But what the hell. I can't tell my heart to stop beating so damn fast. I want to sleep. I want to rest. I want to escape reality even just until everyone's awake and to keep me busy enough to be worrying about something else.

I CARE. I SHOULDN'T. I THINK. I MUSN'T.

Why can't my heart stop beating so damn fast?!?!?!?!?! I wanna sleep. Now. Cease thought. Even for a moment. Forget, even for an instant. Accept, for crying out loud. ACCEPT. Read reality. Fuck wishful thinking. Fuck "what might" when there "is". I should know better than assume. I should know better than conclude. Then again, I should know better than not accept. I should know better than hurt. I should know better than staying awake despite all that happened the whole day. I am me. People are who they are. I am an individual, like all the rest of the world is. I am free. Just like every fuckin person is.

Stick it to you head Volt. The world's not all about you. Everything doensn't have to happen according to what you want. You are not the only right thing in this world, no matter how you want to believe that. You are just like any other person existing. At the end of the day, no matter how you make yourself, it's always gonna be how the "other" knew you, how the "other" understood you.

Fuck this temporary life. The movie "Click" gave the option to go fast-forward. I can't right now. I want to press it badly to see how this episode turns out.

My heart beats slower now. I could probably sleep. I might be able to sleep. I hope I can sleep. I fuckin need it. I need it.

Waking up, that's another story.

...Gadget Chronicles: Starting Day 2...

I should be writing this on my new PDA. But due to a stroke of genius, I'm blogging now via Tring's new laptop.

My HTC specified that it must be charged for 3 hours before I get to use it. So last night (earlier, if you want to get technical with it, feeling ko gabi pa basta madilim eh), I went out of our room at around 1:45AM and started to blog away, waiting for my phone to finish charging at 3AM. I was so damn sleepy while trying to read what happened in game 4, but I persevered, wanting to swap the extra battery and charge it after the other was finished.

So after about an hour trying to keep myself awake by blogging and whatnot, it was 3AM. I was so excited to open my phone, finally, after hours of carrying it around in it's box.

...None.

I tried again...

...Still, nothing happened.

Then the horror of reality slapped me in the face: The freakin extension wasn't turned on.

I thought of just charging it when I woke up. But then, I thought, it might not be enough time for me to be able to use it when we go out. I decided to charge it anyway, and just get up the moment I open my eyes, despite the bodyache.

I got up at 7:30AM, an hour and a half late from the expected 6AM. I ran out, feeling my legs cursing me, and my heart pounding my chest. But still, I ran. Curiously, it wasn't hot, as I expected it to be after being charged for a time.

I opened the battery pack, changed the battery, then the unthinkable happened: I don't know how to put the battery in. Apparently, there was a black slip of plastic covering the fuckin part where the battery was supposed to be placed. Again, I failed to charge the freakin battery.

Then this stupid laptop took about an hour or so setting itself up. It's good to go now, but it was quite a wait. It looks good though, I know Tring's gonna like it. I did.:) Toshiba L310-P418, from 999SGD down to 969SGD in the afternoon, and down to 899SGD when I got it. Plus the carry case, the anti-virus, and the fuckin big printer.

Will upload pix when I have time. We're squeezing the time we have here as much as we can. I should definitely come back. And probably consider working here.=P

...Singapore Day 1 Rundown...

...we arrived at the airport at about 12:15AM and bought alcohol for my sister and cousin. Apparently, you can only buy 1 bottle of wine/whisky/vodka/etc and a set of beers (normally 3-packs) per passport.

...Ate proudly served us her homemade "Sotong". She says it's kinda like squid-cereal. Disgusting as it may seem, it's not that bad. Imagine calamares, only with weird-tasting breading.. I just can't dig in much as my stomach has been upset for days.

...Couldn't sleep, got to finish "Deception Point" in my PSP. The more I read Dan Brown novels, the more I feel he's a frustrated romantic writer.

...Slept at 3AM, but got up at around 8:30AM, more because of wanting to know what the score was than touring Singapore.

...Justin.tv can't give me a break. After 2mins, the room suddenly becomes "full" and I get to be the one kicked out. I gave up on watching the game, as we were bound for a trip around Singapore.

...Walked to the MRT station. It really doesn't feel like I left Manila, what with all the Filipinos around, jologs to sosyal...

...Waited about 15mins outside the doors of the IT show. Then we learned it was going to open at 12PM. It was 11AM then.

...Walked to Carrefour. I can't say an approximate distance, but it was a long walk.

...Saw a new LFC kit in the Addidas Store. Costs 99SGD. Wanted to buy one. Opted not to. Felt it was too expensive.

...Ate at a food court. Laksa, an interesting noodle soup, was ordered by Job. It was spicy, but I didn't like it much, probably because the spicy-gata combo in my head will always involve malunggay and some galunggong.

...Wandered in the IT sale. They left me chatting with a sales guy for Toshiba, and I met up with them only after I scoured the entire floor for the best deal for Tring. Despite the many other tempting bargains, the Toshiba turned out to be the best one.

...Strolled lost on the top floor, where all my family was. Once I found them, my sister informed me of an HTC booth, and I dragged her to it. They didn't need to sell the phone to me. In my mind, it has been sold for months now. It's not quite the Verzio Envii that was part of my Christmas wishlist, but it seemed better to me, being assured of quality by brand, and the safety of a known service center in the Philippines.

...HTC Touch Viva costs around 21-22K in the Philippines. Here, it cost around 14-15K.And they included freebies, such as a bluetooth headset and an extra battery. I thought I was supposed to get a pouch for my phone and a small bear, but I guess they ran out. Too bad. I wanted the bear.

...Strolled to the Marina Barrage. It was freakin hot out.

...I don't have any good pictures. If I uploaded the pics my sis took, I'd name the album "tanga-looks in Singapore".

...The Marina Barrage was a sight to behold. Our local leaders could learn from it. Especially in Malabon.

...Went back to the city to finally buy Tring's laptop. Long line for the money changer. Bought the item, got everything arranged, and went to the top floor, where the freebies were to be given. I took the printer freebie, thinking it wouln't be that big. It turned out it was. And we had three more stops to make. Deym.

...Dragged the laptop and printer via the free stroller Toshiba gave us. Walked to the Esplanade (great sight during the night), and on to the Mer-lion (or however the hell you spell that).

...Rode a river tour. Good thing the ticket guy was Pinoy. We got to leave the big-ass laptop package with him for safekeeping.

...River tour is a great ride at night.

...@Issa: G-max, the bungee-like experience, doesn't seem worth it. 40SGD?! That's robbery.

...Went to light dinner (we've eaten almost every time we got to sit down.).

...Discovered that Ronaldo is all set to play for Real Madrid. Scary, considering Kaka just signed last week.

...Learned that a delicacy which starts with the letter "A" (the exact name escapes me at the moment) is actually thinly sliced squid slices, despite my mom's claims that it isn't.

...Appreciated San Mig more. Tiger beer sucks. It tastes like an experimental mix we had in the office, Johnny Black and San Mig light.

...Went back home, took out everything that must be taken out of the box, so that it won't be taxed, and charged those that needed to be charged.

...Learned that Lakers indeed won game 4. As I said time and again, Orlando will get games 3 and 5, but Lakers are gonna get it done in game 6.

...Watched the latest episode of "Tayong Dalawa" via pinoychannel.

...Burning time, waiting for my first battery to be charged.

...Thinking, not wanting to think. "Ako Mismo" ang makakatulong sa sarili ko sa mga oras na to.

...Happy thoughts. Thoughts about me. Thoughts about what I have. Not about those that I don't.

...Tomorrow's gonna be a new day.

...brought about by the weather...

This weather sucks. It's too bad that it's too good to waste being alone.

=========================================================

Hopefully all the rain runs out by next week, when we'll be flying to Singapore. It's going to be the first time something official would be written on my new and first passport.

=========================================================

I'm still torn between a netbook and a PDA phone. I'm certainly going to buy a wifi router in Singapore, so I'm left with thinking, do I want something I can blog with anywhere, anytime, or something where I can be online even in my room? While the latter is really interesting, my fetish for a PDA phone is comparable only to my love for the game of basketball.

=========================================================

Speaking of basketball, BTV has been the only channel my TV has been on since I got BTV back.

=========================================================

I don't smoke. I'm all about the metaphor of it when I say I still want to smoke. But I know I got to stop and and try to breathe fresh air. I gotta leave smoking alone. But it's too damn hard.

=========================================================

Read a book, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. Same authors made the book Ely (still betting pronounced "i-lay" and not "eli") and Naomi's No Kiss List. It wakes up the voyeur in me, in that it's written in such a way that you are reading the person's thoughts. Good e-books, c/o Issa.

Still, "Infinite Playlist" had moments when it seemed like you're reading Xerex from a tabloid. And with an imagination as colorful as mine, it seemed like I was watching a porn flick. But it wasn't meant to be seen that way.

=========================================================

Kiko, Tring, Steph, and I went on a "spur of the moment" session at Sidebar Cafe in El Pueblo. Jon and I always thought it was closed, but apparently, the bar is on the second floor, not on the first, which we always pass by. It was a fun, random session. Now, if only we had someone whose birthday is July, so we can meet up every Monday of his/her birthday month for free pizza.

=========================================================

Still thinking about smoking.

=========================================================

Work sucks. For the past several days since last Wednesday, I haven't had much, or anything to do. I go to the office, sit down, and stare at my monitor, go to Facebook, Multiply, NBA.com, or read ebooks. I "accidentally" fall asleep at times. This is supposed to be awesome, but I feel like my brain cells are looking more like American couch potatoes already.

Hopefully, Araneta calls one of these days. I'll leave this freakin office finally. I'll take any job that may pay the same or higher, even though it's gonna be more stressful. My brain cells shouldn't look like they all have my beer belly.

==========================================================

Lakers in 6 seems to be the general consensus of people. Those whose hearts were broken because the Cavs lost all want an Orlando upset. I didn't get everything right in my predictions for the NBA season, but I got it right most of the time. And I'm sticking with what I've been saying since Jameer Nelson went down: this is LA's year, much as I hate Kobe. Lebron's gonna get his MVP award, but Kobe's gonna get the Finals MVP trophy.

And even if I still owe Pao Agulto lunch for being a non-believer in the Magic, I still stick to Magic being too young to win it
