...what does it take to be a politician?...

Watching the house of representatives voting now on weather or not the position of Speaker of the house should be vacated, I realize that the answer for that question is "not much"... Filled with some nonsensical ramblings by some representatives taking advantage of the fact that this is a televised event, its hard to think that so many people are busting their asses studying law and getting laughed at if they mispronounce a word while more than half of the house can't even pronounce "prisidint" right... a handful could speak well, but its sad to think that these guys in fancy suits running our country can't even say the correct pronounciation of the words... "rigister"  is another word I just heard... Yeah, sure, we are Filipinos, and we're not supposed to be better speaking in English than we are speaking in our native tongue, but then again, why don't they just speak in Filipino if they're going to talk like that? Di naman masama eh.

Rep. "For a better Philippines!"  walanjo, kala mo pageant sinalihan ng loka...

"Spikir DiBinisya"... "Musyun"... "Bekant"... all from one politician...

"Mistir spikir, I bot yis"..

I could do this all night... but I won't... this would put me to sleep in just a while... Hopefully something good comes out of this... JDV put himself at risk, but sad part is why just now?  Some analysts put it best, its like a baby being separated from his candy.. In a seemingly last gasp to save his face, he confessed everything, but who would believe him now? I'm thinking sooner or later he's gonna get assasinated... And hopefully by that time, people would be called to action at last... sino pa ba magpapapatay dun? I'm hoping he goes first, I wouldn't want my uncle to be that hero to move the people to action...

Tanginang gobyerno yan... Tanginang mga opisyal yan... Lahat mei halaga...

  2. we can consider JDV as a hero 'for the moment', i was reminded of his very brave speech.. I admired his courage, pero i also got disappointed of why did he allow himself to be engaged in anomalies with malacanang for years (and decades), tapos ngayon lang sya magsisiwalat ng hinanaing nya sa gobyerno.. POLITICS nga naman.. di mo maintindihan, it can make the most intelligent man fool and irrational in exchange for power and fame.. kakaawa ang mga distrito na pinamumunuan nila..
    GOD bless this nation..

Kuya Ags: Antok ka na ata nun nagrereply eh.. imoeachment...? hehe... chaka sinasadaya ba un "i'm reminder"? hehe...
    Daniel: Ndi eh... peste eh..
Peter: He's just a baby... not a hero... a hero will act because it is the right thing to do... he's acting because he can no longer gain anything more in the position he is in now... he doesn't want to lose power... he doesn't want to lose the position where he can gain pretty much anything he likes... read my next blog for more thoughts on this one..
Imon: nabasa ko. tangina nga nilang mga rep... nakalimutan ko i-special mention ka sa isa ko pang blog..
